Geraldines came back from a four point deficit at half time to lead late on with a well taken goal. Cooley's experience told in the last few minutes against a young and energetic Geraldines team who moved the ball well throughout and with more luck in front of the posts the result may have been different. |

Paidi O Se Football Festival |

Cooley Kickhams G.F.C. will participate in the forthcoming Paidi O Se football festival on the weekend of 27th February. The invitation to the Club was received in October 2008 and subsequently it was decided to attend. This football festival has been running on Sigerson Cup weekend in Paidi’s home town of Ventry for the past 20 years. The town hosts three competitions with Senior Mens football made up of 8 teams, Senior Ladies football made up of 4 teams and overseas with 2 teams travelling. |
