Cooley Coast Run

10K & 5K Road Race

Launched in 2011, the Cooley Coast Run is a beautiful run along the Cooley Coast. The route takes competitors along Cooley’s famous coast line, taking in the wonderful scenery of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne and Cooley mountains.

The Cooley Coast Run, sponsored by local firms Alltec Fibre Ltd and KTF Timer Frame , is now an established event on the running calendar with over 400 participants annually.

The Cooley Coast run is a very valuable fundraiser with funds raised going back to the club helping to maintain the club and keep it operational year on year.

With two distances to choose from, a 10k and a 5k, this is a fantastic race on one of the most scenic routes in the country. This is a race that is growing in popularity each year and attracts entrants from all over the country and even further afield!

Please note that the 5k run/walk is an inland loop and does not run alongside the coast! Prize categories in the 10k include over 40s and over 50s for both Males and Females.
